As former students at Mackay State High School, Karl and Sarah Hill were delighted to return to award recipient winner, Pushti Shah with her scholarship certificate.
“My wife, Sarah, and I are big believers in equal opportunity. Everyone should have access to quality education and the ability to pursue their dream career path. In our experience though, kids graduating from regional state high schools must often tread a harder path in pursuing a career in law, commerce and business. This is particularly the case in families that have limited financial resources. This is why we established the Hill Family Scholarship,” said Karl Hill.
“We couldn’t have been more impressed with the calibre of candidates for the scholarship, and the recipient winner. It is a credit to the students and the school.”
This program will provide financial support to regional Queensland students seeking to pursue a career in the fields of law, accounting, or commerce.
Specifically, the Hill Family Scholarship Program will contribute $5,000 each year to assist with expenses such as accommodation, textbooks and equipment, day-to-day living, travel costs and work placements.
Results Legal Chief Operating Officer Carla Wall said the scholarship not only helps to close the financial burden many regional students face but is also a wonderful opportunity to empower young students to work hard and dream big.

Karl and Sarah Hill said they looked forward to watching Pushti’s career continue to rise throughout university.
