Michael leads the firm’s commercial litigation and insolvency team, which specialises in partnership and business separation disputes including oppression actions, partnership and trust litigation across Australia. A key focus of the team’s practice is intergenerational family business disputes.

Michael also has significant experience in general contract and commercial disputes, including fraud and trade practices matters and drafting, realising and enforcing securities for banks/ lenders.

Michael regularly advises regarding insolvency matters and conducts insolvency litigation, including insolvent trading and director duty claims, claims arising from phoenix transactions/ asset stripping and conducting public examinations. He also has experience in representing examinees at ASIC examinations.

Michael regularly provides professional development training and seminars to clients, major accounting bodies and professional services firms.
